Tobey Maguire: Fired and Rehired For Spider-Man (Entertainment)

I completely missed this story. From Gothamist:

Tobey probably realized what an agent says about the possibility of losing the Spider-Man role: 'Tobey Maguire the actor would have survived. But Tobey Maguire the multimillion-dollar movie star? I don't know.' "
